I am a painter and draftsperson living in the Chicago area. I have been drawing and painting for most of my life with some success and much satisfaction. I did most of my formal training at the Art Student’s League and the National Academy of Design in NYC. This blog is meant to share reflections , information and gripes I’ve accumulated over years of study. I will keep posts to a respectful 500 words and try to avoid bitter screeds unless they seem too funny to ignore. Please feel free to join in with your comments, questions and suggestions.
